Deputy Clerk IROQUOIS COUNTY is looking for an energetic, motivated individual to fill our full-time deputy clerk position in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder. Candidate will perform a variety of clerical work using standard office practices, procedures, and routines while assisting in many areas as needed, including: recording, attending and taking minutes for the full County Board meetings, elections, and vital records. Computer knowledge necessary but will train due to the specific programs and software used, must possess a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently and independently. Emergency Management Agency CoordinatorIroquois County Emergency Management Agency Coordinator is responsible for carrying out, orchestrating, and organizing Iroquois County's efforts and abilities as it pertains to all five mission areas: Prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery. Using an all-hazards approach, the EMA Coordinator will work with community partners to write emergency plans, conduct exercises and drills, and respond to and recover from disasters. The Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the Iroquois County Emergency Operations Center, Emergency Operations Plan, and any EMA-owned equipment. The EMA Coordinator will need to report to the Iroquois County Board, as well as attend community partner meetings throughout Iroquois County and occasionally elsewhere with Illinois.

Job Description
Emergency Preparedness CoordinatorEmergency Preparedness Coordinator performs related functions such as development and maintenance of the Iroquois County Public Health Department emergency operations plans. Assesses public health emergency preparedness educational needs as well as plans, develops, and implements education and training for staff. Works closely with state and local emergency management personnel, hospitals, medical providers, law enforcement, fire protection personnel, pharmacists, veterinarians, coroners, and community based organizations. Direct supervision of program staff may occur during an actual event. Emergency Preparedness Coordinator ensures compliance pertaining to standards and procedures of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) grant. Conducts training for staff in the use of the equipment, establishes procedural methods, manual instructions and other office and exercise actions. Emergency Preparedness Coordinator is responsible for program development, implementation, analysis, and evaluation as well as reporting of public health emergencies within the county jurisdiction.

IROQUOIS COUNTY is looking for an energetic, motivated individual to fill our part-time and full-time clerical position in the Circuit Clerk’s office.  Duties include typing, filing of forms in the judicial process, answering the telephone, screening and transferring calls.  Requires two years clerical experience, computer proficiency, high level of interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations.  In addition to a starting salary of $12.13/hr, comprehensive benefit package and ample leave benefits and retirement plan included.  Submit resume and three professional references to: lhines@co.iroquois.il.us.
